Regan Danos

Master Carver Regan Danos began carving in the mid seventies, & has been a member of the Cajun Heritage Festival since it began in 1976. Regan has been an ambassador of Louisiana & Louisiana decoys since he first began carving. Regan has competed in shows, festival, exhibits, & contest from Texas to Maryland, & north to Michigan. Fluent in Cajun French, Regan has also been a teacher & guest speaker at many carving & social events. Carving has been a family tradition for Regan as well. His parents, children, brother, & nephew have all participated in carving throughout the years. The Cajun Heritage Festival is proud, & honored to recognize Regan Danos for his contributions to our Cajun Heritage.
